Not guilty

Reports emerging that Constable Ken Anderson of the Winnipeg police service has been found not guilty of sex-related charges after a trial late last and earlier this year.

I thought it important to note, publicly, that Mr. Anderson has been cleared by a court of law.

No word yet on if he’ll return to work immediately.

He worked in the Centennial neighbourhood prior to his arrest and many reported him to be an officer who was valued in the community.

UPDATE [4:30 p.m.] Story on Anderson’s acquittal here.
